I.G.N.I.T.E.
The recently created I.G.N.I.T.E. program has transformed the ability of those in our jail to rehabilitate themselves through education, useful life skills, and job training. With over 2500 enrolled students and counting, I.G.N.I.T.E. is solving the problem of recidivism and halting generational incarceration and addiction that have destroyed countless families.
Community Outreach
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office has also become a hub for positive impact for those struggling in our community. Via our Christmas Spectacular, March is Reading Outreach program, and increased Fentanyl abuse awareness, our footprint in ensuring positive change is as big as ever.
Each of these programs have been instituted during my current term in office, and have created a foundation that has been replicated by law enforcement agencies across Michigan and our entire nation.
Make no mistake however, we are just getting started!!
